Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog!
This week I am going to give you some tips that will hopefully help you become more of a morning person. I hope you’ll find these tips helpful!
Also, if you haven’t seen it, I have a books page now, where I’ve listed the books I’m writing, as well as my progress with them. If you like that sort of thing, go ahead and check that page out!
Tip 1: Set an alarm
If the problem is you don’t wake up early, then set an alarm! If you have some sort of device with an alarm app, choose an appealing alarm sound. If you like the sound of a rooster crowing, set it to that; but if you like a calm wind-chime sound, set your alarm ringtone to that!
Tip 2: Drink cold water
After you’re awake, grab a glass of cold water. And if you’re a coffee lover, apparently a cold glass of water wakes you up faster than coffee, and it’s much healthier. You don’t have to have water so cold it freezes your tongue, but a glass of cool water helps a lot.
Tip 3: Make your bed
I find it’s easier to start the day when your bed is made. So after you drink some nice cool water, make your bed! This will most likely keep you from getting back into bed as well as make you feel productive.
Tip 4: Get ready for the day
What I mean is get dressed, eat breakfast, do your hair, etc. My suggestion for getting dressed is to not wear your shirt backwards, and to set out your clothes the night before. I’m sure you’ve heard this tip everywhere, but it does actually help.
Tip 5: Exercise
Okay, admit it, we all need to exercise more often. When I wake up in the morning, I usually feel really groggy, even after drinking water and making my bed, so I take my dog outside for a run. If you don’t have a pet to take outside, go for a walk or do an exercise you found on YouTube, but don’t cuddle up in a blanket again!
That’s all I got for you guys today! Today’s post was shorter than I hoped it would be, but I hope you still found it helpful!
Are you a morning or evening person?
I love hearing from you guys!
